My name is Yturri, by day a nurse, by night an affiliate marketer and a full time husband and father of 3. And sometime in between I get my workouts done! Growing up, I am always the smallest and skinniest in the class and I did not get a lot of opportunity to be involved in sports or any structured physical activities, unless you consider chess as a sport which I competed during my school years, I got more chance doing a lot of fun and physical activities after I got done with nursing school.
Once I am free from going to school fulltime with tons of homework, I explored and experienced a variety of amazing indoor and outdoor activities from going to the gym, running, cycling, hiking, playing basketball, going to a boxing gym for a great sweaty workout to a sparring, tried multiple different DVD workouts, getting my hands on ninja warrior courses, running on obstacle course races, bouldering and more. Also, my 10-12hours career as a nurse that also takes some physical toll on my body.
For over 10 years now, my life has been essentially loaded with activities and I perform really well ala Beast Mode! Besides the active fun lifestyle with my family, beachbody.com’s P90X versions (I have my workout logs that when put together can make a decent sized book), ninja warrior obstacle course training and crossfit has been my favorites. With all these exciting workouts, exercises and fun activities that I got myself into comes the painful reality of Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. No Pain No Gain as they say but it is about getting results and having an amazing experience and not getting hurt.
